Home About Gallery Blog Fab Academy Contact # Instructor bootcamp   In January 2020, I took part in the Fab Academy Instructor bootcamp held in the newly opened super fab lab in kerala. The bootcamp was hosted by the Kerala startup mission in Kochi, India. The bootcamp was a dynamic and intensive 6-day event designed for Fab Academy Instructors.   We attended the opening ceremony of the super fab lab the first day where we heard a few words from the organisers, listened to some lovely traditional music and got to learn how the cool machines in the lab work. The lab is equipped with top of the line equipment including a waterjet cutter, fiber laser cutter, top of the line 3d scanner and printers.   During the upcoming days , we went through all aspects of Fab Academy instructions under the supervision of Prof. Neil Gershenfeld, director and founder of the Fab Academy program and Gurus of the Network. Machines and Fab Lab space was open for us to experiment with new technologies and processes, while developing assignments.   I learned so much about new exciting embedded programming architectures and got the chance to test out some excellent machinery in the newly established Super Fab Lab Kerala.   But the most important part was working with all the truly amazing fab academy instructors from all over the world which made this experience extremely rewarding and enriching.
